Stephanie Eckerd is an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business where she teaches courses in supply chain management. Stephanie works primarily in the area of behavioral operations and supply chain management; her research seeks to improve understanding of how social and psychological variables impact various aspects of buyer-supplier relationship management. Her articles have appeared in the Journal of Operations Management, the Journal of Supply Chain Management, and the International Journal of Operations and Production Management. She serves on the editorial review board for the Journal of Supply Chain Management and is an ad hoc reviewer for many other journals in the field. Stephanie earned her PhD in Operations Management in June of 2011 from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, and served on the faculty of the University of Maryland prior to joining the Haslam College. She has previous industry experience in the field of procurement analysis as a defense contractor serving the Missile Defense Agency.
